Marxism–Leninism is the ideology of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Communist Party of Cuba , Communist Party of Vietnam , Communist Party of Laos , current and former socialist states and most communist parties. The purpose of Marxism–Leninism is the revolutionary destruction of a bourgeois state and replacement into a socialist state, realized through the leadership of a party vanguard, composed of professional revolutionaries from the working class. The socialist state is realized in the dictatorship of the proletariat, and is governed by way of democratic centralism, which Lenin described as "diversity in discussion, unity in action".
